This is my basic recipe for a vanilla sock pattern. After trying many options for the construction, heel, and toe for my socks I finally settled for a toe-up, short row style heel. It’s the style that I find most pleasing to knit and it seems to fit me quite well.
The pattern includes all the links to the tutorials I use to make my hand-knit socks. So, you can knit along with the video if you like.
